Baby Drops

For this project, I had the opportunity to design packaging for Pink Stork, a company that focuses on providing wellness products specifically tailored for women’s health. Pink Stork offers a variety of items, including supplements, teas, and essential oils, all designed to support women through different stages of life, from pregnancy to menopause. Their mission is to empower women by providing natural and holistic solutions to enhance well-being and support overall health.

Project Objectives

The Ask

Currently, our products are designed to align with the Pink Stork branding, which

primarily targets women in search of vitamins. However, our competitors have adopted a distinct

approach, opting for fun graphics and designs that appeal directly to children. T o stay

competitive, I’ve recently revamped our product listings to embody a fun and playful aesthetic,

similar to that of our competitors, moving away from a mom-centric marketing approach.

Consequently, we are now looking to update our packaging to reflect this new, engaging style.

Also, while our current marketing efforts are focused on babies, we aim to broaden our target

demographic to include toddlers as well. This strategic shift is intended to embrace a wider

audience, ensuring our products appeal to both babies and toddlers with a cohesive and

attractive brand presentation.

Project Overview

In designing the packaging, I focused on reflecting Pink Stork’s brand identity, which is centered around empowerment, femininity, and natural wellness. I used colors  I felt represented what they do like purple for sleep cause it’s a calming color, orange for the sun and happiness along with fun typography and simple, to represent the childlike fun. The goal was to create packaging that not only stood out on the shelf but also conveyed the company’s message of self-care and holistic health. I worked closely with the brand guidelines to ensure the design was consistent with Pink Stork’s existing image while adding a fresh, modern touch to the product packaging.

Working on the package design for Pink Stork was an invaluable experience that allowed me to combine creativity with strategy. I learned how important it is to align design choices with a brand’s identity and values, ensuring the packaging resonates with the target audience. This project taught me the significance of balance—creating a visually appealing design that is both functional and reflective of the brand’s mission. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience in real-world design scenarios, honing my skills in collaborating with brand guidelines, considering customer appeal, and producing work that is both professional and impactful. Overall, this project deepened my understanding of how thoughtful design can enhance a product’s message and market presence.
