Famous Sandwiches

For this project, I worked on a rebranding initiative for Famous Sandwiches, a well-loved local eatery known for its fresh, flavorful sandwiches and classic comfort food. Famous Sandwiches has a strong reputation for offering high-quality, made-to-order meals with a welcoming, casual dining atmosphere. The goal of the rebrand was to refresh their visual identity, making it more modern and appealing while still honoring their established roots and loyal customer base.

Project Objectives

The Ask

Currently, our products are designed to align with the Pink Stork branding, which

primarily targets women in search of vitamins. However, our competitors have adopted a distinct

approach, opting for fun graphics and designs that appeal directly to children. T o stay

competitive, I’ve recently revamped our product listings to embody a fun and playful aesthetic,

similar to that of our competitors, moving away from a mom-centric marketing approach.

Consequently, we are now looking to update our packaging to reflect this new, engaging style.

Also, while our current marketing efforts are focused on babies, we aim to broaden our target

demographic to include toddlers as well. This strategic shift is intended to embrace a wider

audience, ensuring our products appeal to both babies and toddlers with a cohesive and

attractive brand presentation.

Project Overview

In the rebrand, I focused on creating a cohesive and updated brand identity that reflected the company’s heritage and dedication to quality, While bringing in some fun so it can be enjoyed by anyone no matter the age. This included redesigning their logo, refining their color palette, and updating typography to create a cleaner, more contemporary look. I also worked on packaging and signage concepts, incorporating subtle nods to the brand’s history while ensuring the design felt fresh and inviting. The objective was to attract new customers while strengthening the connection with their existing community.

Rebranding Famous Sandwiches was a rewarding project that allowed me to merge creativity with strategy while respecting the brand’s history. I learned the importance of balancing tradition with modernity, ensuring that the updated visuals resonated with both long-time customers and new audiences. This project taught me how to create a cohesive brand identity through thoughtful design choices like typography, color palettes, and logo design. Additionally, I gained valuable experience in aligning a rebrand with a company’s core values and customer expectations, demonstrating how design can effectively enhance a brand’s image and market appeal.
